Move over “The Bean.”

Peachtree City quietly installed a mirrored pineapple at The Avenue overnight, and by sunrise it had already achieved full cultural landmark status.

Within minutes, locals began approaching it with a mix of reverence and confusion and some gently placing their hands on it like it might grant wishes, others circling it three times to “see themselves from every angle,” and at least one man insisting it reflects your “true self. while several dads have already asked, “So what’s it do?” before immediately taking 14 photos from the exact same spot.

Attempts to flip it upside down have been ongoing since 8:12 AM. Witnesses say one group claimed it “just feels like it should be that way,” though no official explanation has been provided.

By noon, at least two engagement photos, one maternity shoot, and a heated Facebook debate about whether it’s “appropriate for the community” had already taken place.

City officials have not confirmed the sculpture’s origin, purpose, or how it arrived but have asked residents to “respect the art.”
