PEACHTREE CITY ANNOUNCES “DATA CENTER PARK,” SET TO OPEN 2027

PEACHTREE CITY, GA — In what officials are calling a “natural next step in civic entertainment,” Peachtree City has announced plans for Data Center Park, the nation’s first immersive data center–themed amusement park opening in 2027.

City leaders confirmed the park is designed to “outdo whatever Coweta is doing.”

Attractions will include:
• The Server Farm Simulator – Guests sit very still while fans blow on them for 45 minutes.
• Cooling Tower Splash Zone – A refreshing mist experience that’s 90% humidity and 10% killing a frog.
• Fiber Optic Frenzy – A high-speed ride where nothing appears to move, but officials insist it is.
• The Latency Line – A queue experience described as “long, invisible buffering.”

A centerpiece attraction, The Blackout Drop, will randomly shut down mid-ride “for realism.”

Peachtree City officials emphasized the park will also be environmentally mindful, featuring several educational exhibits explaining where the water went.

“We wanted something families could enjoy together while also not fully understanding what’s happening,” said a city spokesperson. “That’s the Peachtree City way. None of the fountains will work. Toilets won’t flush. Water is not in the plans.”

Season passes for Data Center Park will go on sale once they finish loading.
