Summer Grove Couple Enters Month Two of Shared Facebook Account After “Facebook Dating” Incident

A Summer Grove couple is officially entering month number two of sharing a single Facebook account, a big step that came shortly after what they’ve called “a confusing time” involving Facebook Dating, several women within a 10-mile radius of Newnan, and one account that apparently did not understand the concept of commitment.

The account, now named “BradAndAshley J”, was created to promote trust, healing, and making sure nothing like that ever happens again, especially within driving distance.

Friends say the change has been noticeable:

Things that are now harder to do online include liking selfies taken at the LINC trail, commenting on gym photos from One Life, or reacting to anyone who “just moved to Newnan” without a full explanation as to “who is she.”

Posting vague statuses like “Funny how the truth always comes out” has also become difficult, since both people have to agree on who it’s about and whether it’s worth starting something in the comments.

Even simple stuff, like changing the profile picture, now takes forever. One person wants a smiling photo from downtown Newnan, the other says it “looks staged and suspicious.”

The fire emoji has been banned completely.

Messages are answered carefully and often start with “We” even when it’s very clear only who they’re talking to.

Despite the challenges, the couple says they’re doing great.

“If we can survive sharing a Facebook account in Newnan, we can survive anything,” the couple said in a post that was liked by both of them and no one else.
