BREAKING: Locals are reportedly “deeply dunno-ing” after Line Creek The Reserve unveiled its newest collaboration beer, “Mustache For A Beer,” sponsored by Newnan Time with Harold.
The controversy stems from the brewery’s commitment to “authentic branding,” with each pint featuring real Harold mustache hairs gently floating throughout the beer.
“I mean, I support local,” said one Downtown Newnan resident, staring into their glass for a long time before taking a sip. “But I didn’t realize ‘support’ meant this level of participation. Liking a Facebook status is one thing…”
Another patron clarified, “They said it was ‘farm-to-glass.’ They did not specify which farm or which face.”
According to the brewery, the base is a smooth, well-balanced golden ale featuring:
• Light citrus notes from carefully selected hops
• A crisp malt backbone that keeps it refreshing
• Subtle hints of honey and biscuit for a rounded finish
• Clean fermentation profile that makes it easy to drink
“And yes,” the spokesperson added, “the mustache component is optional in spirit, but not in practice.”
Meanwhile, Newnan Time with Harold released a short statement:
“If people didn’t want Harold in their beer, they shouldn’t have ever been nice to me.”
