DEVELOPING DATA NEWS
Coweta County residents are reportedly feeling much better this week after hearing that the proposed 6 or 7 data centers may all end up in Turin.
“Well that’s different,” said a Newnan local. “At first I thought they were coming here. Turin works fine.”
The announcement has sparked cautious optimism across the county, with many admitting they aren’t entirely sure where Turin is, but are confident it’s far enough away to be someone else’s problem.
Officials stressed that Turin residents deserve the same quality of life as everyone else, but that statement was largely drowned out by people asking, “Wait, people actually live in Turin?”
Several residents even volunteered additional sites for future development, noting that there appears to be plenty of room in Turin and “the wildlife has already moved to Senoia.”
At press time, Turin officials were attempting to get enough internet service to find out they had just become the county’s designated data center district.
