Coweta Sheriff’s Office Raises Eyebrows Over New Crime-Fighting Tactics
COWETA COUNTY, GA — The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is raising eyebrows after residents reported seeing deputies jumping on the heads of suspected criminals and eating mushrooms while on duty. Officials insist the behavior is part of a “highly specialized enforcement strategy,” although they have declined to explain why several deputies have recently developed an interest in green pipes.
“We are simply utilizing every available resource to protect Coweta County,” a spokesperson said. “The mushrooms are completely unrelated.” The department also denied reports that deputies become significantly larger after eating them, although witnesses say otherwise.
Officials also reminded the public that jumping on a suspect’s head is not something civilians should attempt. “That’s for trained professionals,” the spokesperson said while reportedly sprouting a raccoon tail.
