BREAKING: Obsessed Newnan Man Hires Private Detective to Investigate “Why My Post Was Deleted” in Local Facebook Group

NEWNAN — A local man has reportedly hired a private police detective to conduct a full investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a Facebook post from the group Bid It to Win It / Coweta County.

The man, identified only as “Gary from the comments,” says the investigation became necessary after his post selling a slightly used air fryer and three mismatched patio chairs was removed by group moderators late Wednesday night.

“I just need answers,” Gary said while refreshing the group page for the 47th time that hour. “They said it violated the rules but nobody will tell me which rule. I cannot simply move on and focus on real life.”

According to the detective hired for the case, the investigation is already one of the most complex he has encountered.

“When the client called, I assumed it was something serious,” the detective said. “A theft, maybe a missing person. Instead I was handed screenshots of a comment thread and a 12-paragraph timeline of the post’s life before deletion.”

The detective confirmed he has already begun collecting evidence, including archived screenshots, reactions from confused commenters, and a screenshot of the group rules which Gary has highlighted extensively.

“He believes moderators targeted him personally,’” the detective said.

Neighbors report Gary has not slept since the deletion and has been seen pacing his driveway while explaining the situation to anyone willing to listen.

“I’m not obsessed,” Gary said. “I just want transparency, accountability, and maybe my post restored.”

The detective says he expects the case could take weeks.

“Facebook group politics can get messy,” he said while pinning screenshots to a corkboard. “This one might go all the way to the admins.”

At press time, Gary had posted a 600-word explanation of the situation in three other local Facebook groups asking if “anyone else has experienced this injustice.”
