Tim Ryan for Coweta County Commissioner is in the spotlight after allegedly launching a fundraiser through “Meals on Wheels” to provide every District 3 voter with a complimentary blender after the “success” of providing mixers.
According to campaign materials, the program called “Blend the Vote” promises residents a “high powered kitchen experience” in exchange for “community engagement and a willingness to make smoothies.”
Witnesses say dozens of voters showed up expecting hot meals for seniors before discovering volunteers loading industrial grade blenders into the trunks of Honda Accords across Coweta County.
“This is not what Meals on Wheels means,” said one confused resident while holding a 64-ounce smoothie pitcher. “But I will say this thing absolutely destroys frozen strawberries.”
Campaign officials defended the effort, claiming the blenders are “essential infrastructure” and insisting District 3 has been “critically underserved in the frozen beverage department.”
