Controversial construction project “Peachtree Pods” green-lit for Newnan
A controversial new construction project known as “Peachtree Pods” has officially been green-lit for Newnan, with the facilities designed exclusively for Peachtree City residents who find themselves in Newnan for work errands or other personal responsibilities.
Under the proposed rules, Peachtree City residents will be permitted to enter a pod for up to 60 minutes per day, where they can briefly experience some of the finer things they’ve become accustom to back home.
Officials say the pods will feature cocktails, VR golf carts, foot massages, pineapple candles, compliments from women, and absolutely nothing Newnan.
Residents must provide proof of Peachtree City residency before entering. Newnan residents, meanwhile will not be permitted inside.
